Despite his family’s concerns over the difficulty of continuing the business, Kuo Pin, Wu returned to his hometown of Douliu nine years ago to become the third generation successor to the family business.
Not wishing to let their sauce brewing legacy come to an end, Wu has worked closely alongside organic soybean farmers to rediscover the original taste of black soybean soy sauce, all while supporting youth returning to countryside farms.
